If you have a Taurus 4410 and you are thinking of buying some of the Russian Golden Bear .410 brass-cased buckshot, be advised, it would not fit in my weapon's cylinder at the range today. The diameter is apparently too thick.

Chambers in my other .410s (shotguns, T/C). Something to keep in mind.:)

I REALLY want one of these guns..not really good for any purpose in my life, but I still want one.I think it would be a pretty good home d. gun.A face full of 410 buckshot will get someone's attention.:D

I love this firearm

I have a 4410 snubnosed polished stainless. When rural hiking here in Colorado I load the first two with #8 for snakes and the remaining 3 with 45 long colt for predators I may encounter. The short barrel makes it easy to carry in a holster.
For home defense it is loaded with #4 buckshot. Holds 7 pellets.
As a car gun which is legal here in Colorado I also use the #4 buckshot.
Try to buy one of these here in Colorado. They are sold out everywhere.

I wanted one - until last summer, when I finally shot one! Horribly inaccurate with .45 Colts - and shot swirled from it with .410 shot - all you can find locally. Plus, the only .45 Colt ammo I have found, outside of one dedicated gunstore, is the infamous 'cowboy' type (This excludes my basement 'factory'.).

Of course, I have been jaded by owning at least one .45 Colt 625MG for the last six years (Two for the last three years!). Of course, the 3" 4510 weighs less - 29 oz vs 39.5 oz, but the S&W is an N-frame - with six .45 Colt chambers vs five of the Taurus. The trigger is far better, not to mention the quality, warranty, etc. Get a 625MG and find some CCI shotshells in .45 Colt for snakes, if you must. Believe me, 250gr Speer Gold Dots - or some 255gr LSWCs - in .45 Colt will serve you better in self defense, in your home or car.
