The Taurus G3C is a budget Compact 9mm as you know. But how do you think it compares to other compact 9mm pistols in that price range?

I like the G3c quite a bit. The trigger is much better than my G2c and it fills my hand.
Comparing it to my Shield 9 (1st gen) I think the Taurus fits my hand better, but I haven't shot it enough to really compare it.
I Like it well enough I'm considering getting another one.

I had one and I liked it a lot. The only beef I had with it was the double strike capability on the trigger took some getting use to for me. In the long run I fired about 600 or so rounds out of it. Never had a failer to fire, extract or feed. For the money if it was going to be my main gun? I would have keept it. But swapping back and forth I just couldn't or wouldn't deal with the trigger so I sold it.

The G3C is extremely close in size to a S&W Shield Plus
Now … with a rebate you can get a Shield + for
$350
Best deal

A Taurus GX4 & G3X are both in my regular carry rotation

I'd save my money until I could step up a notch or two. To me a defense gun isn't a thing in life to go cheap on. You generally get what you pay for with later model guns. If you buy this and actually end up training with it, you will likely sell it at some point, after you're around better pistols more.

Actually I use revolvers for personal defense I don't trust any semi-automatic in a life and death situation having to worry about is the safety on or not having to worry about jamming .good old revolvers keep them clean you can trust them every time

I have owned a Taurus® G3C since 01/2021. During the ensuing time, I have shot just over 2K rounds through this gun w/zero malfunctions. 115, 124, 147gr, FMJ, and JHP all fired and ejected fine. While it shoots all ammo well it is most accurate with 124gr ammunition. I am extremely pleased and have found a real keeper for CCW.

I have a G3c (also G3 and G3x), I like the way they feel in my hand, I shoot them a little better than my MP compacts and Shields and my long gone Glocks. I bought my first Taurus less than a year ago, a G2c, I like it except for it's junk sights. The G3's sights are my kind of sights, no need to buy after market sights...I pocket carry and the G3c it just right in the big pocket of my bibs.
