I have had hit and miss luck with Taurus.
First gun I ever bought was a Taurus 357. (All I could afford.) Still have it and it's okay. Don't shoot it much.
Bought a .22 mag. Nothing but problems. Hard to get cylinder out, hard to eject shells.
Bought a .17. Same issues as .22 mag.
Bought a 1911. No issues so far. Enjoy shooting it. Seems to be a lot of 1911 for the money but time will tell I guess.
So, as others have already said, seems to be hit and miss with Taurus. Problem not going to buy another one as I can afford spend a little more on firearms now.
