The MSRP is $529 but reports show some retailers selling it at street price of $439.

I love DA/SA pistols. If they offer a steel version in 10mm I’ll buy one. I can’t help but think of a matador when I see the name Taurus. Olé!

Not gonna bash Taurus. Frame-mounted safety, hammer-fired in America's caliber. 13 plus 1? I'd be inclined to give it a whirl at that price point.

I like the looks but I've honestly have never seen any TH pistol in a store or really online. It's all G3, G2, GX4, or Tx22

The "Taurus bashing" was somewhat tongue in cheek because every time someone posts anything about Taurus pistols/revolvers at least one person is going to pop in telling everyone how terrible they are........... It's as predictable as the sun rising in the east..........

The name for the compact 9 &40 versions is interesting; THC.

I didn't know they had an entire line like that in 9 and 40 also. Interesting. I can appreciate them a bit as I prefer a hammer on things. Need to keep an eye out for one now.

I had no idea considering I really knew nothing about a lot of manufacturers back then including Taurus. The only non misurp I owned (other than BP guns) was a S&W .38 revolver and I don't remember what model that was.

Not your fault. In a few years they will introduce a “new” 5 shot snub nose in .38 Special and the gun press will flood the ‘net about it.

I'm interested, I would like a DA/SA .45, not many of those out there. I will wait for a compact model, don't care if the capacity drops to 8 rds or 10 rds, I prefer .45's in a short barrel than a long barrel.

My thoughts exactly. Taurus has supposedly gotten their QC much improved. If this is reliable and shoots okay, I think it’s a great firearm for a garage/camp/go bag.
