The "Taurus bashing" was somewhat tongue in cheek because every time someone posts anything about Taurus pistols/revolvers at least one person is going to pop in telling everyone how terrible they are........... It's as predictable as the sun rising in the east..........

It's a polymer framed, double-action/single-action semi-auto packing 13 rounds of 45 ACP. The TH stands for "Taurus Hammer" as it's an exposed hammer fired pistol.
The MSRP is $529 but reports show some retailers selling it at street price of $439.

That TH sure looks familiar.

I had no idea considering I really knew nothing about a lot of manufacturers back then including Taurus. The only non misurp I owned (other than BP guns) was a S&W .38 revolver and I don't remember what model that was.

Not your fault. In a few years they will introduce a “new” 5 shot snub nose in .38 Special and the gun press will flood the ‘net about it. ;)

I'm interested, I would like a DA/SA .45, not many of those out there. I will wait for a compact model, don't care if the capacity drops to 8 rds or 10 rds, I prefer .45's in a short barrel than a long barrel.

Not exactly pretty, but, that does not affect how well it works.
Price point is very attractive, though.
My thoughts exactly. Taurus has supposedly gotten their QC much improved. If this is reliable and shoots okay, I think it’s a great firearm for a garage/camp/go bag.
