I currently own a Taurus Tracker 45 ACP. However, I have a yearning for a Ruger Blackhawk 45ACP/45 Colt convertible (or other single action revolver). I'm just debating the pros and cons of trading in the Tracker for a Blackhawk
Tracker
Blackhawk
Does anybody have anything to add to my list of pros and cons?
Tracker
Pros:
Cons:
- Double action and single action
- stellar clips
Cons:
- 5 shots
- has a built in lock
- Really large
- limited on reloads due to max pressure listed in manual
Blackhawk
Pros:
Cons:
- Classic cowboy look
- Can be changed out to fire 45 colt
- Can take really high pressure loads
Cons:
- Slower to load
- single action only
- Will probably have to spend more money to get pistol
