Does anyone have any interest in the Taylor's and Co. (Chiappa) 1892 takedown rifles? I have a lot of experience with Rossi 92's, and I'm a big fan of the 1892 in general. The takedown feature on the Chiappa 1892's caught my interest recently.

Specifically, I am wondering if the takedown lever at the muzzle has any tendency to come loose or get snagged on things. Can anyone speak to this?

Thanks.

Not first hand, but there is a very knowledgable poster on IG, 308Loophole, who has a take down. He said that it has loosened up after shooting and he was not able to tighten it. You might want to head over there and see what he has to say.

A guy named Faulkner on the Smith & Wesson forum just posted photos of his. Lots of comments, so you might find what you are looking for.

Have a blessed day,

Leon
