Received my Tech Sight for my AK-74 clone today and after about 15 minutes of very minor fitting (including milling off the original rear sight), got it all installed. At $110, it is definitely not the cheapest option on the market but it is solid, well made and looks nice. Finally a decent rear peep for the AK.

I am looking forward to testing the rifle with new sight tomorrow. Will post more info but so far very impressed.

I have a Century with the notorious cocked front sight. Nevertheless, I was able to get the rifle sighted in with the new rear sight. The peep was all the way over to the right side, so I corrected the front sight alignment with a few well aimed hammer blows and got it to shoot point of aim with the font and rear sights pretty close to centered.

I was able to shoot 1 inch groups at 50 yards without difficulty. I ran out of time so didn't get to try any longer ranges.

The sight is very tight on the rear slot and I did not need to use the set screw included to obtain a good fit. Removing the top cover now requires a pointed object like a bullet top in order to remove.

All in all, a very nice addition to the AK.

Is the finish on the new top cover as gray as it appears in your pics or is it simply due to the camera?

I have been a VERY happy owner of a TS100 for my SKS for several years now. I have wanted a AK tech sight for my saiga, but the price has always kept me away. I'm glad to see that tech-sight has put out another quality product.
