AK Tech sights

Have any of you AK guys ever tried the Tech sights. Are they worth the $120?
Also,will they work on an AK-74? I have a SAR-1,Maddi,and an AK-74. I think the greater sight radius of the Tech would maximize the accuracy the 74 already has.

I'm also thinking of a scout mount on the Maddi,and a PSO mount on the SAR. What are y'alls thoughts on that whole situation. I've been an AK/sks man for over 15 years, I don't like the side mounts that bolt on and the top cover mounts are crap.

I mainly want to hear from someone who has a Tech sight though, that's the only thing I really don't "know" about. Any and all info on those are especially encouraged. I use to have a 7.62x39 saiga with a pso, that was the best luck I'd ever had with a scope on an AK. I should never have sold that one LOL, it took AK mags. too.

I handled an AK-74 with them and they were way too far back for me. Maybe with a longer stock it would work. I had to hold the gun a couple of inches off of my shoulder to get a proper sight picture.

Oh yeah,I was anticipating probably a 6 position stock. Great,one questioned answered,they will fit a 74, thanks.

I have shot a converted Saiga .223 with them plus I have tech sights on my SKS. I love the sight picture with them, but $120 is kinda steep IMOO. My $45 TS100 sks sights were a bargain and money very well spent...the AK sights not so much. You can pick up a UTG 5th gen side rail for $32 at amazon and the find a decent red dot for $100 and be in the tech sight ballpark!

I have a WASR-10, rear sight was very poorly regulated, so I picked up a set of Tech sights. They are great! Nice tight fit on my AK. Easy hits at 100 yards. Are they worth the bucks? In my case I'd say yes
