Not long ago, I was looking for a quality, yet affordable, handgun. I had checked out Sig, Glock, XD, etc and each had their highs and lows. Then, a buddy at work asked me if I had thought about a CZ. As it turned out, I was looking at CZ's website and told him so.
The next day, my friend came in at told me he had found something I just had to see. It was a CZ 75B 9mm in satin nickel. It had some ugly wood grips, a porter barrel, two high cap magazines, and a stainless steel locking case for $325. I jumped on it, putting it on layaway right then and there, then came back the next payday and took it home. NO firearm had ever felt so great.
First, I like a heavy pistol. I like to keep recoil to a minimum and the weight sure helps with that. That with the porting helps.
Second, the ergonomics felt like the grip was made for just me. I honestly had no idea that a gun could feel that good in my hand.
Third, the only aftermarket parts I wanted was some new grips, and those are plentiful. Now I just have to decide what I want
I can't recommend CZ enough!
