how can it be their fault ? you ask , well its like this ...

all my big elephant stopping 45's are being replaced as carryguns by an H&K P2000 V2...

in 9mm...

loaded with WWB 147gr jhp no less ...

all those who know me are having nervous breakdowns wondering where the apocolypse will come from ...

hey, what can i say ?

i just like the P2000 , its light , its functional , it holds a lot of rounds , its cheap to shoot... whats not to like ?

:neener: :uhoh: :what:

147gr 9mm has a bit higher sectional density than 230gr .45 or (180gr .40) and generally a bit more velocity than the .45 so if you place 'em right, it'll do the job.

You and the German State Police are apparently thinking along the same lines.

German Army selected the standard USP with a slightly altered safety set-up back in 1997.

Me, I bought a USP Elite in .45acp.
I still like the elephant killing cartridge as much as the 9mm.
I just own too many 9mms right now.

Then again the Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm looks awful interesting,,,,,,,

my view is that the 147 gr is = to the old FBI load of 158 gr LHP +P...
that load has proven itself over many years ...
plus the controls are ambi and simple , the trigger is like a good da revolver , it holds 13-14 + 1 , WHAT'S NOT TO LIKE...?
