Found this at my local gun shop today for and for $150 I couldn't resist bringing it home:D

I think it's a Cobray but it doesn't say anywhere on it who the manufacturer is. I haven't decided if I just want to add a stock attachment to it or get the rail mount for my AR, I'll probably do both eventually:evil:

37 mm right?
Yup, 37mm.

I've found a few sites that sell 37mm ammo but none of it seems to be very cheap so I doubt I'll be shooting this thing very often.

Next 4th of July it will definitely be used.

Just get yourself a 1911 with a rail and mount that sucker right on the bottom!! Now that's a HD gun. You don't need no stinkin flashlight, just launch a flare down the hallway.

Oh that's just awesome!!!! I want to buy the Spike's Tactical one, but just haven't been able to justify $300. If I found one like you did for half the price, it'd be under the barrel of my Saiga in a heartbeat!

With the spring that's in that sucker I bet it would launch ping pong balls pretty good. To go full blown mall ninja you need to mount it on a 10/22.

Are the rounds considered DD with a $200 NFA tax on each? Flares of course would not be.

So, correct me if I am wrong, but...

The masterkey shotgun goes under this, while it attaches to the AR?

Or does this go under the masterkey and the shotgun goes onto the AR?

Think we could fit a Lemat on there too? Just in case the Klingons create an anti powder ray that renders all smokeless powders obsolete.

is a 37mm tube like this one considered like a "firearm" in the USA ? I mean, if you were to buy at a gunshop, would you go through a background check ?

Nope, it's considered a non-weapon and not subject to BATF regulation. So you can buy them without a background check or order them online and have them shipped to your door.

The catch is that you are only allowed to use flares or other signaling cartridges in it, no destructive or less-than-lethal rounds. In other words you can't use any cartridges in it that could be used against people whether lethal or non-lethal.

nice! I am definitely jealous, looks like a ton of fun. I hope you own a bit of land though, I can't see too many ranges allowing you to try it out :/

Get a magnesium flare. Nothing like an orb of 4000* goodness flying down the hall. Great illumination tool, but you wouldn't want to let it hit flesh:uhoh:  ;)
