The results are in!!! I don’t have a way to measure it right now but here’s a 5 shot group at 100 yards with the Savage axis in 223 right after sighted in without much time to cool down using Remington UMC 55gr FMJ 
, i imagine it’s potential with good quality ammo. Certainly more accurate than me

Yes, im going to try better stuff next time.
For my Axis 2 in 223 I wanted a Boyds pro Varmint but cheap skated out and got a spike camp.

Had to sick the dremel to the front bottem of the mag well to get the magazine to lock in. Other then that it dropped right in, fits snug, and passed the dollar bill free float test. I want to shoot it first before deciding to try my hand at piller/ glass bedding the stock.
