In that situation I would trade straight across but throw in a few hundred rounds of 9mm ammo. And if you ever tire of the .44 give him first option to buy or trade for it.

Obviously you've never tried to buy a set of .44 Special dies.

If he has .44 Magnum dies, then there is no doubt that he has .44 Special dies (they're the same thing).

That's exactly why I will be at hiw house for reloading and not mine ;-)
