boricua9mm,

Nunca he escuchado de una Sig220 9mm, Puedes abundar al respecto?

I don't carry a single stack but if I did it would be a Kahr T9.

Drop dead gorgeous pistol IMO.

It is on my want list but I'm having a hard time justifying the price.

Maybe when I can buy one that's rollmarked made in Pennsylvania I can feel better about it.

Esta pistola es el primero P220...en 1975! Si queires leer mas...Click Here

IMO, there is something to be said about being "the best" at being a pocket pistol, managing to stay under 23 ounces but still fire a major caliber like the 9mm, having a snag-free design and usable sights.

What I can say about the Kahrs is that they are the best $350 9mm pistols that can fit into most casual wear pockets. I'd much prefer they had a trigger design like other striker-fired guns. Of course, I'm probably the only guy on this board who has pocket carried a G26 for over 10 years. Now THAT little 9mm seriously performs like a real deal service pistol. Unfortunately, all they make these days is super-tight sissy pants with pockets that can't even fit a cell phone! :p

I've owned 3 of them, am a big fan of P-series pistols, but the 225 is bigger than a single stack 9mm needs to be. For that size/weight you can carry something with a lot more capacity, if desired. I have a S&W 3953, would never carry a 225 over it.

I agree, but I don't prefer single stack 9mm's in general. Any of ones that are small "enough" to justify so few rounds I don't like shooting. I can carry a small double stack nearly as well and I'd rather have more ammo.

Saludos,

Rohrbaugh in the pocket and SIG P210 super target in a shoulder holster. Took a while to sell off enough of the accumulation but managed to finally get set. One for speed and one for accuracy.:neener:

For a while I carried a S&W 952 and liked it very much. Carried a PSP long time ago liked it.

When I was told to thin out the herd no one said I had to downgrade my equipment.:D

That new Walther looks very interesting. Walther's version of the HK P7...

If tiny is required, then one should look to the Rohrbaugh. It's thin, light, reliable and certainly small enough to conceal in just about any circumstance. The one drawback; like the HK P7, not a gun you put hundreds of rounds through in a short period of time.

Walther's pistol is nothing like the design of the P7 series of pistols.

Besides, which HK P7 are you talking about? Lots of people have opinions about HK's P7 series of pistols, but they don't seem to be aware that HK made the P7/PSP before introducing the P7M8. The have different features and slightly different manual of arms.

Also, why can't you put hundreds of rounds thru a P7 PSP or P7M8 in a short period of time? Aside from wasting ammo and getting no training benefits from doing so, any P7 series of pistol could handle this. If you mean heat, the P7M8 has a heat shield added.

I do not know which is the best single stack 9mm but I have several that I would never sell-- S&W 3913LS, 3914, SIG P225, and Walther P5. My favorite is the SIG P225 which I carry often in a Galco Pancake holster at 4 O'clock OWB.

I've had my P7M8 since 1985 and put it through quite a few long range sessions. I honestly have never had a problem with it heating up.

I've read where people have, but I never have. But the most I've ever shot before reloading was 33 rounds.

Maybe by the time I reloaded those 8-round mags the gun cooled off - I don't know...

if im caught carrying a single stack 9mm it going to be a Shield, and my wife is going to want to know what im doing with her gun :D

The best, who knows? The best for me, the Springfield EMP. I'm also going to be picking up an XDs to try out.

I guess I'm the only Colt Defender fan, but I carry it everywhere I go. 8+1 is not bad for single stack. I left out the STI Duty One in 3" or 4". I have gone away from the poly guns I like the feel of all metal and prefer the hammer over the striker.

Another vote for the Sig P6. It's the only single stack I have ever owned so that's all I can comment on. It is a nice shooting pistol.
