The Brady's have hatched a new tactic

I agree with you guy's, if Paul thinks 3 boxes of ammo is alot, he's sorely mistaken. 3 boxes of ammo is ONE day at the range.:D Hell, I've got about 12,000 rounds of ammo piled up in my closet, 40 S&W, 357 mag, 30 carbine, 7.62x39, 22 mag, and 22 LR.:D

Who cares what the UPS thinks, its thier job to deliver it, not question it.:neener: My UPS guy has delivered several cases of ammo to my house over the last few month's, I haven't heard any negative comments out of him, wouldn't care anyway.

you know if they ban AK's and AR's.. someone will just come up with a high cap magazine for a 7400 or 750, or BAR like Eagle International already has... except they will hold more than 10 rounds....

couple that with loading your own ammo, and we're back to square one...

I've got a buzzword too, it's "Freedom"!!

It wouldn't matter what the guy shot people with.

If it was a scoped bolt action hunting rifle it would be a "Sniper Rifle".

If it was an affordable pistol then it would be a "cheap Saturday Night Special".

If it was a shotgun used for home defense or dove hunting it would be a "Street Sweeper".

If it was a semi-auto rifle it would be an "Assault Rifle that's capable of piercing police bullet proof vests" (because all pistol rated vests can be penetrated by high velocity rifle rounds of any type).

If it was a pistol it would be a "High Capacity Semi-Automatic Pistol".

The Liberals have a buzz word for everything.

Some of us should buy a TV network to counteract some of this crap, I know I'd buy some shares.

First we need to call BS on this because UPS doesn't deliver to PO boxes.

actually most UPS stores have PO boxes inside them... and some of them will even give you an actual street address instead of a PO Box address

Perhaps even more shocking, the type of bullet many assault weapons fire (7.62mm full metal jacket) can penetrate four categories of police body armor

I am ABOUT to say a BAD WORD. OH MY GOODNESS. Do these people have any idea HOW MANY commercial available rounds can penetrate BODY ARMOUR!!

Quite likely. If they cause/lead a push for these 'evil cop/kitten/child killing armour piercing military-style assault bullets', depending on how said statute is worded, bang you have a defacto ban on most centrefire rounds over, say, .357 Mag.

sig worthy

There's no legitimate reason
For using that gun out of season
So trust us, have no consternation
And vote for this new legislation

AWB II!

Now in my sig line

Wait a sec, my 10mm bullets can't penetrate four categories of policy body armor. Is more millimeters better or worse??? If it's worse, I'll buy 6.8 millimeters or 5.56 millimeters. For the children.

BAN MILLIMETERS!

I do not like Paul Helmke. Preying on the ignorance of others is a shameful way of making a living.

Which would explain exactly why Paul Helmke makes the living he does...
I liked what one of the commenters said: "There are 250 million guns in America. 50 percent of the households say they have 1 gun. Do you think the gun fairy will make them all go away?"
And I'd really like to see him answer that question...

“Until recently, the nation did have a law designed to protect the public from assault rifles and other high-tech infantry weapons."
Since when is the AK-47 considered "high-tech?" :)

Don't know if this is a little known fact or not, but Paul was the one who cooked up the phrase "assault weapon".
I thought it was Hitler, when he called it the "sturmgewehr."

Oops. Don't want the Bradys to catch THAT..."these are the guns endorsed by ADOLPH HITLER!!! Won't someone please think of the children?!?"

Yay me! Too bad Burma Shave is out of business.... I could make a fortune!

ETA: You might like my haiku better.

Pistol in my hand
The ground carpeted by shells
My grin is wicked

I thought it was Hitler, when he called it the "sturmgewehr."
yeah he also has another thing in common with the brady bunch, he didn't want his soldiers to have the weapons because "they were too powerful"

There is no legitimate reason because they don't do it, if they smoked or drank or owned guns then they would see things differently but these people live in their own little world were they try to push other people around. I tell these pushy bastards this every time they start their anti-gun or anti-smoking crap. :barf: :cuss:

"I agree with you guy's, if Paul thinks 3 boxes of ammo is alot, he's sorely mistaken. 3 boxes of ammo is ONE day at the range."

That's why Helmke said "multiple boxes of ammo". It sounds so much more sensational than "three".

He's like a dishonest used car salesman.

anti-smoking crap.
I'm a non-smoker, and my grandfather died of lung cancer after smoking for many many years. But I'm not anti-smoking. I don't give a rats ass. If people want to smoke, let them. It's none of my business.
Yes I miss my grandfather a lot, he died when I was less than 5 years old, but at least he died happy, and free.

The main problem that I see with people of this mindset is that they base their arguments on what we "need" versus what we don't...and they would like to be able to draw the line on what's needed and what's not.

"Need" has nothing to do with the question. All we "need" is basic transportation. We don't "need" Corvettes and Porches capable of 150 mph speeds...but thousands are sold every year. I don't have a particular need for an AK-47, and truthfully, I don't care for them very much...but if I want one, I should be able to go out and buy one.

Need-based possession is a Marxist/Totalitarian criteria. We shouldn't be burdened with having to prove that we need an artifact before we're allowed to obtain it. The is America, after all.

Remember that "Gun Control" isn't about guns at all. It's about control...period.

Brady's at it again!

G'day everyone,.....

So the Brady's want to ban the Ammo because thay think its dangerous?

Easy solution,...Thay can lead by example,.
..thay should produce Amunition that thay think is safe!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aussie looks at box of Brady approved Ammo on table.

Hmmm,...picks up box,...
Hmmm,...box feels realy light,...

Aussie opens Ammo box.

Hmmm,...nothing in here,...
Hmmm,...this box is empty!!

Aussie.

A few blogs back, Helmke said that the Brady Campaign has a "duty to be our brothers' and sisters' keeper".

Is that enough to give you nightmares, or what? It also reveals their real agenda, which is people control. I like to throw it in his face now and then, on the blog.

It's great that they're attacking the 7.62mm because once they get attention focused on the round, they can take away our hunting ammo. HOORAY.

Note: The above is a work of fiction and the Brady Campaign is a bunch of [HAVE A NICE DAY]s. They should just go [HOW ARE YOU?] themselves.

I just hate those vehicles with 30 gallon fuel tanks!
Why, with a good engine they could go better than 750 miles running down helpless pedestrians along the way and creating chaos for law enforcement!
And what about those 400 horsepower engines!
My gosh, a killer intent on doing people harm could get a lot of speed in his vehicular missle prior to impact with some innocent citizen!

Geez,,,,,,,

Law enforcement have plans in place to deal with goofballs in vehicles.
Stop sticks and aggressive tactics come to mind.

Most states allow the same plans to deal with goofballs with guns intent on doing harm to innocents.
Legal CCW and aggressive tactics come to mind,,,,,,,,,
