I dunno how many of you are anime fans, and that's okay if you aren't. What's linked here is flat out awesome.

Reproduction of Vash's revolver.

What you see linked here is a wooden recreation of the weapon from Trigun. In the series, the gun is a top break .45LC with the barrel in the 6 o'clock position. It's really kind of awesome.

If you like guns, and you like anime, Trigun is one to check out.

I stared at that page trying to understand what I was seeing, when I saw the word anime I realized why I didn't get it or care.

There is a company that produces a weapon just like that called "Rino". I doubt it will last very long either....

You mean the Chiappa Rhino?

Designed by the same guy who came up with the Mateba auto revolver, Emilio Ghisoni. If it's anything like its predecessor, there won't be many, and the folks who have them will rave about them.

I didn't know they were making them in longer barrel lengths. I might have to grab one of the 4" or 6" versions.
