I did a search and to my astonishment there was no "official" CZ club here! So I thought that it was well past time to get one started.

All are welcome to join the club whether you are talking about the older "Presne strojirenstvi Uhersky Brod" MilSurp CZ firearms, or the newer products of Ceska zbrojovka. Please post photos and any information you care to share about your CZ pistols and rifles. :D

Some history (from the CZ webpage)

    Starting off

My weird old, and very much loved, CZ-52.
This pistol has the aftermarket Wolff 16.5 lb recoil spring and the new machined firing pin (available from Makarov.com) and is a lot of fun to shoot.

My recent purchase, a "Satin Nickel" finished CZ-75B in .40 S&W which is a wonderful handling tack driver easily on par with my beloved SIG 229!

    Zespectre's CZ 75B 40...

Is about the nicest lookingf OTB pistols available. (It probably shoots pretty darn well also). I think it (the satin nickle) even beats the stainless CZs in looks - maybe not finish durablilty.

I seem to be going for the timeline CZs:
    I have a CZ-24, CZ-52, CZ-75BD, and CZ-82.

Pictures of the family will be posted later.

    ZeSpectre,

Good idea. I will have to post a pic of my Pre-B CZ-75. This is my favorite 9mm and I have several.

I have this CZ in my night stand (I prefer it over my Sig). What more can you say?

Yeah, I've had the nickel CZ for about two days, had it to the range ONCE and have put 100 rounds through it and already it's a serious contender for my affection vs my SIG, but the SIG 229 is still my preferred CC gun (the CZ is a LOT more PURDY though <grin>).

Would like to find some good 12 round mags for the CZ though.

I'm starting to wonder if I should get some wood grips ;)
I do like the black and nickel look of my 75b though so the black plastic may just stay.

May have to get another one, since my son in college has pretty well claimed it. Time to think about a 75!

I won't participate in this club,
but only because I don't own a CZ.
(I'm a revolver & lever gun guy. What can I say?)

But I'm delighted to see another club pop up,
and want to give a hearty endorsement to its founder,
my friend Ze, who participates in at least one other club I'm in
and offers up great informative posts.

I predict that this will be a first class thread with much good information.

    Have fun, ya'll.

Just to throw in .002 in. Great idea. I own 2 cz52. Quirky as hell, but fun to shoot. A CZ82, which I love, and a 75BD. My favorite is the 75BD, but I shoot the 52s each week. Money goes further out the 52.

Have had a few fte with Bulgarian ammo on one gun the second 52 has never misfired. It needed a new spring, but that was all.

    Great idea.

Hah, learn to pull the trigger smoothly on a CZ-52 and you can pull the trigger smoothly on ANYTHING! (except maybe a Nagant revolver).

Yeah I bought bulk Romanian with TinyGnat and we're both really glad we did. Almost as cheap as .22LR!
