Franchi (Benelli) 20 gauge Affinity. It's a month old and I have about 800 rounds through it without one hiccup or any cleaning. Inertia driven action and so damn easy to carry and shoot. Only thing I added was an LM extended clay target choke tube. I call it the Glock 19 of auto-loading shotguns...

Very nice shotgun! It's funny....I'm taking my new-to-me LT-20 out today to knock the cobwebs off it. Going to see how it shoots some Remington foster slugs out of the smooth slug barrel.

Virginian, until you have one of each, how can you say that. I have both, and I can say the 1100 is a great gun, but doesn't compare with a Benelli/Franchi inertia gun. Like comparing a vintage Ford Falcon to an M Series BMW. Sorry...

Did you have any issues adjusting to it being a ~5.5lb gun from the 7 lb Remington? I tried it with a 20ga Franchi 48 and it was just too light for me. I had a heck of a time keeping it moving and shot it for crap. It was really nice to carry, but I ended up going back to my LT20.

I shot one. And I can still say I haven't met an inertia or long recoil gun I liked. I used to say that about O/Us, but a little Beretta 28 gauge changed my mind a tiny bit on that one.

I use a Stoeger 2000 Defense that's tricked out for 3 gun. It really kicks the snot out of me, even with targets loads. I'm thinking its time to get into a gas operated gun.
