Nice, I hope you enjoy your new Kahr. My PM9 is absolutely solid so far (around 800 rounds now), so much so that my dad bought one too. His has 250 rounds or so through it now and like mine, hasnt hiccuped even once.

lol my Kahrs are not pretty my lifestyle is pretty physical and they go everyday with me ( i farm and ranch so i drag them thro hell day to day ). Pics of mine would just be ugly due to scratches , ect.. that carry inflicts while i do everything from replace truck transmissions to fix fence .

I think its a shame that kahr only makes DAO handguns. They seem to be very high quality guns and I like the look, but I won't ever own a DAO pistol, I can't stand them. Quite frankly I've never understood the point.

right on my friend... Im shure youre pistols of choice will serve you well.

Im also shure, youd' apriciate the ol adage: theres a tool for every job.

my p95 works for me in the situations you wouldnt find ritous for a dao, but the Kahr still sits in waiting right behind the p95, and in some cases, the CW( is quite the comforting piece of security all by its solo, right on my hip..

its all about what yer good with..

about the comment on DAO triggers..

I agree for the most part, but Kahr is the only exception. Kahr has absolutely the finest DAO triggers right out of the box. I especially like pulling the trigger on the P45. The slightly bigger feel (as opposed to a P9 or PM9) of the gun puts my trigger finger in a better position when it breaks. All you get is a smooth-as-butter, LIGHT trigger pull with a surprise break and NO jerking after the break. The sights stay completely still and aligned from the start of the pull until the round shoots off. It is especially noticeable how still the sights stay when dry firing it. I swear that the sights moved less and stayed put more on the P45 than ANY 1911 I've ever dry-fired. This leads to insane accuracy out of a .45acp this little.

Kahr has the best all-around carry guns IMO:

- extremely small and thin
- extremely light weight
- perfect DAO trigger system and excellent dimensions for concealed carry
- VERY nice ergos
- all that with incredible accuracy and good ballistic performance from proven man-stopping calibers

Everyone really should do themselves a favor and give Kahr a spin. Once you have one, you won't find ANY other platform suitable for carry. Just my 2 cents..

To add to my first post in regards to the DAO triggers, I should note that I was referring only to my personal dislike of any (and every) dao actioned gun that I've had any experience with. And that to be perfectly fair, I have to say that I've never fired a Kahr. If the chance arose, I'd give it a fair shot like I would any gun.

Very nice Kahr pics (I especially like the DLC Kahrs)
How about a two tone
Here is my P9 with my 3 favorite holsters.

forgot I had this pic.
These are from a test I did a while back with the PM9 shooting into wet phonebooks.
I dont know if I still have the data but I remember both rounds penetrated about the same depth but the Rangers expanded a little better.
Just though some of you might like to see the pic.

These pics are sweet. I like the pic of the two black pm9s and the expanded HP rds. 7+1 of those bad boys in one pm9 that is so easy to carry AND shoot accurately at pretty decent distances..gotta love it.

sturm oficially has too many nice guns ;)

Ill have more pics up tomorrow, try and take some paper punchin pics :)

"Yes, I Flitzed the rounds."

Don't know if I'd trust the Flitz or not. I don't think they mention ammonia on their MSDS, but it sure smells like there's something like ammonia in the mix. Ammonia can make brass brittle.
