Well worth the wait amigo. I also thank you for bringing a good belly laugh to the days end. Even had a moral at the end like Aesop of old.

Cordex, thank you too for the archive.

(snicker)

Adios

All hail the great LAWDOG for his collections of funnyness and side-splitting, belly-aching, trouser-soiling laughter.

Lawdog, I laughed so hard I cried. You are the man.

All together now,

HAIL LAWDOG!

I...cannot...type. Wet...keyboard.

OMG, Lawdog, that is the best yet!

"Wedding tackle." :D

Everyone together now: it's time for Lawdog to publish his book! Publish! Publish! Publish!

Thank you, Law Dog.

Yes, these need to be published. Have any of you read anything this funny ANYWHERE else?

Reading "The LawDog Files" - PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!

OK, that's it.

I read this latest in The Lawdog Files, and was delighted. I'm pretty new here, and I realized that I'd missed something big. I went and read a couple or six from links at Jim's site (Thanks!). Not a Bugs Bunny Shirt. Bubba on the Pool Table (thanks, LawMom!). Santa in the Warehouse. Pyracantha (Edit: whoops! I guess it's called The Drunk Armadillo). A few others, and finally the Snake Story. Somewhere in there, I submitted the post above, about the current story.

So I'll admit I was primed for it.

Then I read the first story of The LawDog Files - The Definitive Collection found at:

Y'all need to know something. I'm 44 years old. I've read everything I could get my hands on from the time that my parents taught me to read in kindergarten. I still read all kinds of stuff, including the Mark Twain/PJ O'Rourke/Dave Barry flavor - the funniest around. In spite of this and my screen name, however, I'm a fairly calm, serious guy.

Then I got to the part where, lying in the bar ditch and picking out stickers, you heard the words,

"Ju brogd by dode."

And for the first time in my life, I fell out of my chair, out of breath, laughing.

This is good stuff.

One word:Ouch. :what:

BTW, are these pure fiction, or are they reality? Either way, I also think LawDog should publish them. I'd buy a copy, and that's reason enough! :)

I NEEDED that!

I almost BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! :) hic, hic, hic...HAHAHAHAHA!! HIC!
Whew!

Oh, I needed a big laugh this morning.
Thank you kindly, LD. All my life IS, is a series of accidents. I'm STILL bleeding over yesterday's fiasco. <damn coumadin>
