So, went to the Dallas Gun Show today with my brother... while I was browsing around, I happened to see a Glock 30 for $400... I thought to myself "hey that's kinda cheap for this glock" so I asked them if I could take a look at it... To my SUPRISE there was a LaserMax guide rod installed on it! I told my brother to hang out next to the counter while I RAN to the ATM to get the funds (I only had $200 on me)... To my dismay there was a line at the money machine... When I returned to the booth a mere 5 minutes later, someone had already bought it... BUMMER... I guess I should have been better prepared and had more cash on hand...

On the bright side, I joined the NRA for $25 and got a free hat and free admission... so basically got a membership for $13... :)

its sucks when that happens. There was a lightly used Beretta 92 Vertec stainless steel for $500 at a gun shop i usually go to. A could have bought it on a credit card but i wouldve had cash on hand 2 days later. So i waited and it was gone 2 days later when i came back. :(

I had a king cobra stolen from my hands last night. It was upsetting.
I was browsing the local shop when i spotted the colt. Right as Ill take it was coming out of my mouth, one of the salesmen had informed me an extremely wealthy regular bought it over the phone.

Rather disappointing.

I had something similar happen recently at my favorite gunstore. A gentleman was handling what appeared to be an "as new" nickel SW Model 19 with 2 1/2 inch barrel at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, he decided to buy it and never put it back in the case. If he had, I would have had it.

I always just consider that "it was not meant to be" and go on. Nothing else you can really do anyway.

Saw a cool little Beretta 950BS Jetfire at my local Gander Mt in outstanding condition the other day priced right. But the place was packed and I had to meet my family for dinner at a nearby restaurant. Went back the next morning at opening and of course, poof, it was gone!
