That looks like a Hogue one piece wood grip for the Ruger Blackhawk, I've seen them on Ebay from time to time, Taylors and Jay Scott make 2 piece grips that are quite similiar and usually alot cheaper. If you bid on one, be sure it's for the BH and not the SuperBH.

Robhof is correct. The grips are Hogue one-piece. They are a bit too large for my smallish hands but I still like 'em.

I may as well get into the game too. My first black powder pistol was the Ruger that hangs at the end of my bed. A fellow owed me 150.00 and gave me the Ruger for the debt; Ive owned a couple of others but hang on to this one. The Ruger is very expensive to own. I have about 20 other breeds now in addition. If it wasnt for that Ruger I wouldnt be telling myself, "Just one more".

My new ROA 5 1/2". I had Clements custom guns cut my 7 1/2" to 5 1/2".
I asked him to remove the warning on the top of the barrel, he told me it was to
deep in the barrel to remove but he could put the warning on the bottom of the barrel. He did a great job on it. He is the man to work on your ROA.

Just Arrived

After reading many of your comments and suggestion I found this 71/2 in. ROA on Gunbroker, While I was waiting for it to come I ordered the Hogue grip from Midway as I expect this to be a shooter. After snapping a couple of pics of it with the original grips it only took about 5 min. to installl the new grip!
Is this a good thread to ask about caps and loads or should I address them somewhere else?
Taurus Bob, How did cutting down the barrel to 5 1/2 in. change the ballance on your ROA? It looks great and I know I like the ballance of my 5 1/2 in '58 Remmy.
