a coulpe weeks ago my dad needed to borrow some money so i gave him $100 bucks. last week dad goes "liz, i can pay you back this week, but i want to ask you something..."
this guy he goes to church with needed some cash and was selling a norinco SKS with over 500 rds of ammo for $75 bucks. i, being the dutiful daughter, told him to get the SKS.
of course i get some of the ammo.
so today i get home from work and go take a nap. when i wake up its dark and dads not home. i wander in a sleepy daze throught the house and i see the bushmaster case laying on the back of the sofa. i wondered about it, but, still sleepy, didn't really care too much. dad came home 20 minutes ago and i ask him, whys the case out? and he tells me its what i brought the sks home in. then he points to the bookshelf and in front, propt up on a coulpe boxs is the sks.
he left it out for me to see and, me the dope, didn't see the thing even though i walked right by it!
dad gave the guy $90 dollers for it and 799 rounds!!!!! dad did tell him he could get more and such, but the dude just wanted to sell it. it also came with a 30 rd detachable mag. the bolt had a bit of rust that came off easily and the bore is in wonderful shape. dad had to clean it pretty good. he thinks the guy never got all the cosmoline off it when he bought it. it has a few dings in the stock and is a little skratched, but we really don't care about that. all in all a pretty good deal. oh yeah, its also got a bayonet. as dad says "finally, i can do a drive by bayoneting!" *chuckle*
so i do have a couple question.....
first and formost where can i get magizines (the curved mags with the spacer attached) for it at a good price? and does anyone know where i can download a manual? we like to have one for every gun.
