I still remember the day of the boating accident, many of you were with me on the boat ride to Alaska for the big shoot with our nice collections when suddenly they sank with the boat, (tearing up now). And well I've always wondered what the ATF would say if/when I had tell them, sorry I lost that gun in the boating accident. Well today I found out they may well belive me.

When I was working for a gunshop one of our customers had all of his guns stolen. He began replacing them a few at a time over several purchases. It raised a flag with ATF and they investigated. They may believe they sank. Just don't try to replace them.

I'm not following you. Wouldn't it be logical for a person whose guns are stolen, lost in a boating accident, etc, to make an effort to replace those guns? It would be FAR more suspicious, to me, if I knew a guy whose collection was lost and he never made an effort to rebuild it.

Nah breh, I don't need to replace them because I still... uh. I mean I still have other hobbies. Yeah.

At least you got to see some nice scenery. All mine went down when I was towing the in. A spare kayak down the Mississippi River. I'm sure they have all either been rusted always to nothing, eaten by catfish or washed out to see by now.

InkEd, My cousin recently caught a large apolousis catfish (75 lbs) that had a Colt Anaconda in its stomach. Could that be one of yours? He was using a model 36 S&W for bait.

I made a time machine and just now (in fact) traveled back in time and gave all my weapons to the rebels in the revolutionary war so they can have modern weaponry to help out their cause. Not exactly a boating accident but just as legit and more patriotic. Lol.

A friend of mine testifies that his guns fell out of the basket in the balloon trip he was taking in Oregon.

They fell right into Crater Lake from 1000 feet up.

Worst luck... Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States at almost 2000 feet.

As he wept in telling the tale, he said the splashes when the guns hit the water were quite spectacular. Especially the ones that hit sidewise.
