I have to say I don't get it.
1. If this bed is kept in the saferoom, AND your concern (in part) is bio- attack, then wouldn't your entire saferooom have bio/chem resistance? In which case the bed is redundant and unnecessary.
2. If the bed is not kept in the saferoom, then how do you employ it? Is it designed for you to sleep in it, enclosed, every single night of your life? OK, I guess so, but if you're THAT concerned (paranoid?), then wouldn't you just sleep in the saferoom, in which case see #1 above. After all, if/when the bio/chem attack hits, and you're in the bed sleeping (presumably you'll know from your radio you keep inside), how in the heck are you going to get from the bed TO the saferoom? And the bed itself is not designed for 'living in' for long periods - you'd go insane trying to live/move in that small of a space, and besides, it doesn't look big enough to store nearly enough supplies to actually wait out the attack, until the bio/chem dissipates, nevermind the claustrophobia. I think you're money would be much better spent building a bigger and better saferoom, with it's own climate control system, and a normal bed.
However, this would be very effective in keeping the kids from climbing into bed with you.
