I'm in the market for a shiny autoloader, please post some pics of your shiny guns, nickel, chrome, etc. I am leaning towards a nickel 1911 but woud love to see some others in addition.

Not super shiny, but just enough to be classy and not gawdy IMHO. It is a little bit shinier than the pic suggests, but it is a brushed SS finish on the flats, and bead blasted on the rounds. The pic makes it look bead blasted all around, but it's not.

Argentine/Belgian BHP. I installed the sights, did the action work and AP&W did the hard chrome.

Fusion commander slide on a Kimber Pro Carry frame. Gun is a 10mm of course. Waiting on bobtail grips and Novak sights.

azmtbikerxdm, I bought that Colt in 2002.

It was originally a brushed stainless finish. After I used it to win a match, I treated it to a grip enhancement, Novak rear sight, and a polish job.
