Little back ground, the first time I went to Iraq, I told my wife to "get a hobby". She never grew up with guns, except for anual USMC training, she really wasn't into firearms. She's now on the Rifle and Pistol team. Which has resulted in buying her, her own Match Grade AR-15, and a 92FS.

2 weeks before I leave on my current tour, I rented a shot gun from the local range, 12 ga Rem 870 18" barrel, some buckshot... she fired 2 rounds of buck and handed it back, the first time she'd shot a shotgun. But the itch got her, She took womens high shooter and womens high team, in the CG Cup Trap tournament, LOL. Guess I'll be buying an over and under 20 gauge when I get back.

Becarefull what you tell the wife, altho, she seems to be shareing her toys, so I can't complain and she hasn't picked up drinking Guiness and Jameson's.

I feel your pain, and pride KC. My wife went from never wanting to touch a gun to confiscating a couple of mine for her own. (Took years though).
Good for your wife and thank you for serving our country.
