Two dates that must be etched into the mind regardless of any other date in your life. Last week I did some horse trading with a friend and came home with a Taurus Ultra Lite 38spl. Ok it's nothing to get excited about just another snubby. Then I "by the grace of God" remember that the Wife's birthday was fast approaching, and to cover bases for another hand gun I presented it to the wife as her present. At first I thought I screwed up, should have been diamonds, gold, gold and diamonds or something in that line but wow did I hit it out of the park. But now I am going to have to buy a Crimson Trace laser for it because it is now her favorite carry piece, along with a new cleaning kit just for her. She took one look at my hogepoge cleaning kit and said that would not make it. But good thing is she offered to start cleaning all the guns after a day shooting, heck yea I jumped on that but wondering what and when the other shoe is gonna drop. But at least got her back into the handgun dept, hopefully she will not look real close into the gun cabinets.

Great stuff WALKERs !!!
My wife would take that lil snubby over any diamonds or gold.
No wait, she'd take the gold IF she panned it herself.
Or the diamonds IF she dug 'em herself.

I've been savin to git my wife a 'snubby'. She wants an SP-101.

On a side note. Don't know if you ever bot a Crimson Trace before ? If not, beware of thier 'inexspensive' model. ( i think price was around $169.00 )
I recently ordered one for my SP-101 and it was plastic !!
I mean, plastic. Not polymer or anything fancy like that.
And, the fit was horrible. My local gun store guy immediately said...."let me send that back ". He didn't want to sell it to me.

Jim thanks for the heads up on the Crimson trace laser. I have never purchased one for a revolver and I knew that they were pricey, looked at one at CTD, don't remember the price but it was lower than I expected. This was going to be the next post/question in coming days to insure I don't spend money on a piece of junk. And Yes I have a keeper for a wife, she is just as happy with a pair of wore out jeans and hands in the dirt as she is with gold and diamonds all over her. Biggest positive about our relation is she actually puts up with me, and that is a task in and of itself.

My wife has already told me she wants a kimber solo with a matching flashbang holster for the next "obligatory gift day". She's hoping to make it her new carry weapon assuming it makes the grade.

Your wife is lucky to be married to such a thoughtful man! I'm married to a gunsmith, so one year I got a custom built pink 7.62X39. I think I have as much fun looking at it as I do shooting it.

Miss Stana thank you for the compliment, I doubt that my wife would agree all the time. I am typical husband, do things without discussing, do things and fail to even mention it for months on end. Best thing we have going is what we call "A PRE- Apology" keeps me out of the dog house a lot of times. I love that she has gotten so involved in shooting and now owns several of her own, as long as she cleans mine then we have no problem.
