Here we go....I guess if its on snopes.com it must be true .....cause they nailed the Obama birth certificate. But anyway its a Lysergic Quinine Protein a bacteria that could potentially become a virus
A bacteria can't become a virus anymore than a swiss army knife can turn into a powder blue 1979 Ford LTD.
Quinine is an anti-malarial alkaloid. "Lysergic" just flat out makes no sense.
I think they just grabbed some "science-y" sounding words and strung them together Star Trek style.
Back to what the OP said about the show on the Discovery channel. What surprised me is professors from Harvard and other world-renowned institutions of research and learning were speaking about the impending zombie apocolypse as if it were scientific fact. It must be nice to be fully tenured.
We don't discuss zombies on THR precisely because it is kind of dumb. I know it's fun and stuff to shoot zombie targets, but we don't discuss it at any length. So, nothing personal, but this thread is getting closed.
