Thief in Florida

Well I think it finally happened…after purchasing Lord knows how many firearms through various sites over countless years, I got hooked up with a thief. I’ve filled out a report with the local police and in contact with the police in his county…we’ll see what happens. While in the grand scheme of things it isn’t a lot of money, under $1k, it’s the deception I don’t like. Similar thing happened couple years back (with a lot smaller dollar amount), I didn’t expect anything to happen, just wanted to get the guy’s name known to the police, however I was pleasantly surprised when a detective called and said the money would be in the mail by the end of the week and if it wasn’t to call him, the next day I had the money back. Anyway be on the lookout for this guy…

If I had to guess the email is bogus by now as I haven’t heard from him in a week.

The address is bogus too. I checked it out and there is no house there. Hope they get the worthless crook. I have had several of my listings on GunBroker copied and put on Armslist. Turned them in to FBI Cyber Crime but I doubt if they did anything.

Seeing how the address, email and most likely the name are all bogus I'm going to close this. Stay vigilant folks, evil is all around us.
