Thinking of purchasing a Mosin Nagant

Anymore, my shooting is mostly at short ranges on clay pigeons on the berm. I can get as much enjoyment out of 40 rounds of x54r fun as I used to get out of a hundred rounds of 223 ammo. The rifle cleans up easily, no gas system or complicated bolt/carrier groups to disassemble and clean.

It isn't for everybody, but then no tool fits every situation. But for the low price, the history, the inexpensive (relatively) ammunition available, it really is a great value.

It's ok if you guys don't like them. But for a plinker in 30 caliber I can think of nothing that I enjoy as much.

Enjoy your lives guys, enjoy each day. :)
