Thinner MkIII BHP grip avail?

I ordered the cocobolo set from CDNN, but the package was stolen from my porch before I ever got chance to open it and check them out. I'm going to have to order another set.

I checked out VZ's, but they seem a little high for what they are in my opinion. I'm going to give the CDNN set another shot and have them delivered to my office this time.

If you're asking if there are other similar grips that will work for the BHP, I don't think there is.

IF you can find them. I don't thin they have been available for sale for some time. They are my favorite BHP grips though.

Is there anything that is shaped like the MkIII grip?

No, not that I know of.

That said, you could contact someone that does custom grips like Omega Custom Grips and see what it would cost to replicate it the pattern of the Mk III grips but thinner than standard.

Not what I was wanting but thanks for the info.

The Navidrex grips are just about as thin as you can make a set and the grips not crack or splitThere comes a point when grips can only get so thin and still be considered usable. I'm sure grips for the BHP could be made even more thin, but I don't know many companies that want to make a grip so thin that it gets brittle and cracks. Then you have a bunch of people unhappy because their grips broke or cracked.

Maybe somebody can take a set of calipers and measure the thickness for you.

Here's my Spegel grips from the back; thin grips, but with comfortable contour:

Those Spegel grips sure look nice. Esmeralda makes thin grips for around $100. I REALLY like Aluma Grips which are thin and extremely strong and rugged.
