Spiff,

You need more stuff on that gun, man! I can still see a portion of the barrel behind the flash supressor!

Seriously, there are 3 barenaked rails just waiting to be covered with accessories. I suggest a daytime laser, an IR laser and another optic - an Aimpoint M3 - mounted 90 degrees off from the ACOG for up close work. :D

what was i thinking??? i coulda slapped an eotech on one of those rails! and another vert foregrip as well.

:D

just wait until i get one of those surefire suppressors!

actually billy, i've found its best to spear a slab of meat with a bayonet and let the muzzle blast/gases cook it until its done. a decent steak takes about 80 shots, medium rare.

:neener:

yeah cosmo, so long as no one witnesses us shooting prone. its like a teeter-totter with my big fat belly. and dont be expecting me to get up from the prone position too quickly!

All kidding aside spiff, put some Magpul XT rail covers on that fore end and lose the black fetish and you would be all right.

Well, maybe still in need of a little exercise...;)

I have heard from former residents and folks who have visited that Alaska is easier to take if you have extra thick "insulation"...

And there was the buddy telling tales of Adak island and hot coffee freezing before you could drink it, but I have never encountered such cold weather.

And by the way, wouldn't an Alaskan ninja dress in all white?:neener:

you try to find royal robbins pants in white!!! :D
besides, the snow hasnt flown yet up here, so everything is all dark yet.

i have the rail covers that came with the surefire m73, they are way more comfortable than the magpuls are. magpuls just feel too big for my fat fingers to wrap around.

Three words: "South Beach Diet"

(No, I am not being humorous. I have lost 8" off of my waist since May, and am feeling much more "tactical" as a result. My goal is to be back to the same shape that I was in when I was in the service 25 years ago.)

Sistema1927, let it go.

Spiff is well aware of his body build. He's got a big enough personality to even make fun of it himself, without other people continually picking at it. And I'll wager if he had a nickel for everybody who told him to lose weight, and try the Atkins, South Beach...

I was just waiting for somebody in this thread to start that. It didn't take long.

Why am I reminded of the scene in Band of Brothers where a new replacement is fixing his bayonet as the unit moves across an open field. Bull Randleman tells him; "You'll never shoot straight with it on." and just keeps on moving.

I thought simple was tactical. Silly me. OH! You meant tacticool. My bad. :neener:
