That's the second video clip I have seen today of someone doing that. Check out this clip to see a similar result.

Bingo. Shot plenty of rounds from pistol-grip shotguns. I don't shoot from the hip. Still got all my teeth.
RyanM, that VFG looks great. If I may ask, who makes it? I am thinking about a PG shotty for a two-week mountain bike trip in Alaska this summer, and this might be just the ticket.RyanM said:Yeah, I'm not sure what the problem is. I've shot a fair number of full power slugs (albeit not 3") from an AOW shottie, using a red dot scope, and haven't had a problem. Just a sore hand before I got a Pachmayr grip. Of course, the vertical foregrip helps a bit.
It's not a matter of upper body strength, either. I can't even do 2 chin-ups.
Just hold the gun tight, push forward with your strong hand, and lightly pull back with the support hand. From what I've heard, some people tend to instinctively pull their hands apart (I guess like they're pulling an imaginary stock into their shoulder?). I could see where that would be a disaster.

Whadda ya mean? That guy is obviously an Operator....You can tell by his vest and all the cool stuff on his belt....It's gotta be a problem with the shotgun.
