More photo evidence

Carney, I found more pictures of some of my Colts. In the Unofficial Walker/ Dragoon LRE Club, page # 9, member number is #18. Post # 109 shows pictures of my Colt Dragoon and 1851 Navy.

Also in the WALKER Club, page # 37, post # 911, photo of my assault Walker. Page # 39, post # 952, photo of my WW II version WALKER.

If I knew how to do this photo stuff and transfer it here, I'd do it.:banghead:

Is this a Colt, or Colt Style thread ?

I see a lot of posts of Piettas, Ubertis and everything else. Let's face it, everybody that frequents this thread, has some form of Colt or Colt repro.

If this is going to be a "Colt" thread, then it should only have Colt branded guns.

So for mine, I have a 2nd Gen Colt 1862 Police which I bought this past Christmas.

That's interesting. Some 1st Gen. Colts have been rebuilt using reproduction parts, grip frames etc...."only her hairdresser knows for sure". ;)

Mykeal, Thanks !!! You're great ! Those are some of my revolvers. Like I said, being a neanderthal I need my daughter to do that stuff for me. I can't even program our VCR. My daughter tells me VCR's are outdated, and we have a DVD player...
I just figured out the remote control for the television sort of, one button = on/ off, one button = channel up/ down, one button = volume up/ down. Books are easier.
Thanks again.

2nd gen "C" series Colt. 1972, low serial no.
I have been shooting and working with this same gun for 39 years now.
Been shooting it on a average of twice a week all those years.
I don't have to many bp guns but the others haven't been used much in those years till recently.

Pretty 1st Model RodDoc..You surprised me with your post right above. I am a lot like you I guess. I'vd carried the same Walker for so many years I would have to sit down and think to try and count up the years. Shot it a lot in my life and you can believe that. In all those years all I have ever done was get the internals polished and hardened and get the trigger pull set and change out the nipples twice and they didn't really really need changing when I done it. The nipples that went back on it are Uberti nipples just exactly like came on it. I am completely comfortable and fully at ease with my Uberti Walker so believe me; I know EXACTLY how you feel and where you're coming from....

Yes better, more politically correct for this "official" club, now go post the Remington you cut out in the 1858 thread so it does not go to waste.
