THR Gun Information is Wrong!

Confession is good for the soul.

We should have been telling people here that mil-surp weapons, without exception, are garbage, pure and simple. If they had any value or utility, they would still be arming the military forces of the world.

Now that we have cleared up, I am volunteering to serve as the SW reclamation center. Please send any old wood and blued steel firearms (military or commercial) to Sistema1927 at.........

Steve,
How are you going to feel if your original post is quoted by gun grabbers, and taken to heart by others against us?
-PM I rec'd

-Enjoy my 15 seconds of fame...(because I will be ROFLMAO for the other 14 min and 45 seconds...along with other THR members...)

-I originate, they miscontrue. I Authored , THR software has timestamps and such -therefore I / THR ... what a field day with rebuttals we will have...

-Hope someone like Mr. Ayoob, Givens, Hayes, ...instructors, writers along with RKBA bloggers, and whomever else can use as something to discredit Tyranny.

:)

Darn, late to the party again, oh well. Since my name was mentioned in the original post I need to step in and clarify that sm is 100% on the money and I am the midwest drop off center for these useless and unfashionable guns... I will make sure they will be retired without pain and needless suffering, and will give advice on the proper pla..err polymer guns to go with the individuals style and wardrobe. Let's just call me The Gun Fashion Consultant, for the small fee of a traded in unfashionable outdated gun I will give out tips on what tacticool color of gun and model each person would look good wearing.:D

When I am unavailable for this important task, I will ask that sm stand in for me in this important service that I am willing to sacrifice my time on.

What in the name of perdition was I thinking? Geez! My old wheelguns are no good? I have been mislead and ripped off? I feel rather foolish about this whole thing. So my 1911, .22LR S/A's, and my revolvers must be relegated to the scrap heap. There is great sadness and the sounds of weeping and gnashng teeth here.:(

Steve has done us all a tremendous favor, and I am proud to stand beside him. :D

For several years I have posted many times concerning the ever-forward progress of modern manufacturing technology. The obvious obsolesces of outdated revolvers is clearly shown if one tries to do multiple triple-taps. Even worse, I have discovered that my speed-loaders and moon clips don’t work worth a hoot in single action revolvers. :uhoh:

I regret acquiring this sort of dregs, but on too may occasions my resolve was softened by attractive prices. I became so attracted to the “good deal” that I lost sight of what I was buying. Fortunately if I am able to dispose of this old junk I may be able to buy one of the new “Polymer Specials” for what I am able to get for 3 or 4 of my old pre-war stuff. This will also substantially reduce the number of guns that are lying around that don’t have internal locks, and make things much safer for the children.

Steve, your are indeed a saint… :) :) :)

Hahahahaha - how did I (all but) know Steve would be inspired to post, well - something - after the show weekend :D.

Yes Steve, the old SW trash for example - why oh why did I go and buy a M29-3 when all the black and polymeric stuff was just crying out for purchase - shucks - more junk in my safe  :D

Seeing as Bonnie and I only got back earlier this evening I am behind on the threads - Larry fortunately pointed me at this one (thx larry :) ) Glad you got back OK Steve. I'll try soon to post a synoptic of the show and allied time.

"Sadtire" Bud? Like that ;)
