That does bring up another question though. My girl friend really likes my P30SK, but feels the need to have an external safety on her gun. Is there a way to install the LEM trigger, but still keep the external safety?
I've heard that by changing out the DA/SA trigger for the LEM, you can still keep the decocker, which makes the first shot much heavier, but not the safety. I've tried the LEM on my gun without the slide cycling and it's pretty heavy. It's more like a heavy DA revolver trigger at that point. That may alleviate her fears, as she sees that there is no need for a safety lever on a revolver due to the trigger.
