I think I am narrowing it down a little. I am looking for a .223 Target only rifle, no hunting with a 100 yrd max range. I did a previous post but this is in relation to Tikka. There are several models of Tikka in .223, none with a wood stock "that I found". To those of you who have a Tikka .223 which model do you have and do you like it, or do you wish you picked another model "Tikka"

Thanks!!!

Yes they OK! with 1:8 twist you can shoot .224 caliber bullets much farther then 100 yards, and use heavy bullets 70 - 80 grains and Tikka guarantees to shoot 1 MOA or less!

Better than OK IME. Superb target rifles. I have the T3 Heavy bbl in 22-250, it is set up for pdogs. The T3 is insanely accurate.

In Tikka .223s, I only have experience with the T3 Lite - synthetic stock and slim barrel, and it is outstanding. And yes, it's good for a bit more than 100 yds. :)

I just replied in your other thread I think. I have a Varmint model (super varmint)1 in 8 twist and it is sub moa with most ammo. (doesnt like the cheap steel cased Wolf ammo which was still just over an inch 6 shot groups.) If I were to do it again I think I would buy the Varmint instead of the Super Varmint and buy an after market rail. Mine has the set trigger which is crazy light when set but the standard trigger is as close to perfect as i have found.
As a side note for anyone interested it seems Wild Dog Customs in Australia is starting to make an aftermarket stock for the Tikkas.

Might look into this one myself at some stage.
Mine also wears a Tacticool bolt knob and aluminium bolt shroud from here.

(No affiliation with either website..... they take my money too.)
