With the arrival of the Caracal, the Taurus 24/7 G2 is now exclusively my wife's pistol. Today at the range, I'm amazed at how comfortable she's gotten with the gun.

Earlier someone asked about "evasion lessons" and now we're using the term "running lessons." 8)

As for the Caracal, if I ever see a compact in person my finances are in dire trouble.

As for the running lessons, there are actual running lessons here in my neck of the woods. From group sessions to personal trainers... Right there with the US$500 running shoes...

I don't understand how one makes money on blogs or YouTube channels, but it does seem as if there are a few posters that do seem to be posting on this and other forums simply as a means to get members to view their sites.

They get advertisements based on views or hits to their blog or youtube channel. More views more more advertising dollars

***edit to add I am not saying that is what the OP is doing, but it would look more genuine to just cut and paste

Again I do not want to imply that he is absolutely doing it, but my personal advise to the OP would be to just offer his opinions in your post. People here will take you more seriously. It does seem to be that you are using THG just to promote your blog. (THR may not care, but it would be fair if you shared any money you make in the future with THR)

There are in fact a few people who post only to link a youtube vid. I don't think it breaks any rules. I generally avoid them.

Youtube is a little different than blogs IMHO. A blog is written and the perpose of the forum is to share opinions/expierences by writting them out. Instead of linking a written opining why not just discuss the opinion on here like the rest of us (or copy/paste)

Youtube is a link to a video or movie which you are not able to "create" in a message reply form. as long as the message contains some info to what the youtube link contains I have no problem clicking it

All my opinions again and whichever way it works out I wish no ill will on the OP just offerring advise.

I don't have a problem clicking a link as long as I know my Mac is protected from the evil software code that lurks on the Internet. Once there I can decide for myself is there's something of value to me, and in the meantime I've supported somebody's small (or perhaps large) business.

Free enterprise allows that when there's a venue to "troll" for website hits, the troller who leverages that site is just being entrepreneurial.

I dont make money off my blog. No ads in it, if you check. Unless blogger is putting them in without my permission.

I just like to control how my reports look.
