I have been loading up my 44s and 357's with titegroup and have been getting alot of smoke. Is there something that I can do about this. If shooting 4 or 5 shots quickly the shooting bay fills up with smoke pretty fast and this is outside. Do I need to increase the charge a little or something? thanks, RG

yea, I have it with my .45acp 200gr lswc reloads. Dirty in a 1911, but I enjoy cleaning my guns. A fast burning powder like titegroup makes it a bit more noticeable, but its not gonna do harm. You COULD wipe the bottom of the bullets clean of lube before loading, that might help a little. Paper towels work.

I just ignore it...But I also shoot a blackpowder revolver when I feel like spending a good 30-45minutes cleaning it after shooting. That, my friend, is smoke!

Titgroup is not the best choice with lead since it burns very hot, but folks are right, much of what you see is from the lube.
