Glad you enjoyed the rifle BryanP.
Things I learned from this trip:
500mi is the farthest I should go before refueling.
Cruise Control is an absolute necessity.
Gas in NW AR is farking expensive compared to the rest of the state and even Central TN.
All EBR's have a grindy-gritty-sproingy feeling when they cycle. Its normal.
A Garand is God's Own Rifle. I must have one.
A 1911 fits my hand better than my Witness, and doesn't kill me to shoot.
Oddly enough, a G29 has less percieved recoil than my Witness.
My Witness's mag springs could be the source of my FTF problems.
I MUST do something about my flinch. Hitting propane tanks at 50yds isnt good enough.
I got an exceedingly good shotgun for $160. I am glad that so many of you enjoyed it.
6rds of .41mag is
enough. I forgot whose it was though. Thanks for letting me try it!
An M38 has slightly less recoil than a Czech 24/47. YMMV though.
There is only 1 way for a bayonet to go in its scabbard.
There are A LOT of police in TN. I saw more in one day than I see in a week here in Fayettenam.
TN mosquitoes seem to like me.
That a small 9mm isnt for me, its really snappy. I might adapt though.
That I probably should have shot the 9mm more, and gotten used to it.
Road lag SUCKS.
Thanks all there! I had a great time!
