To upgrade or not to upgrade this SKS?

Have one. Did the "upgrades". Since then, I have removed every one of them with the exception of the one inch stock extension. It's pretty much the way that I bought it. (Upgrading an SKS - reminds me of what we used to do with the old VW Beetles; there were lots of "upgrades" but no matter what you did, you still had a VW Beetle.)

A Kivaari trigger job and TechSights are the only upgrades I have on my Norinco. I tried the Tapco stuff and ended up selling it off.

your comment about "wife buying shoes" made me laugh and almost choke on my sandwich...

I have a nice yugo sks and bought the rear cover scope mount, pulled off the original cover, and re-installed the original-it just didnt seem right to mess with it.

I have owned half a dozen sks's in various states of bubba-ization, and I always go back to original.
