Top 5 Apocalypse Guns

Ok People, lets see what you would choose as your personal arsenal in the event of the apocalypse.
Personally I would have to start out with the

A.R.I.E.S System Colt M16 Silenced, Great gun, awesome silencer system.
Good for close to mid long range.

Next would come the
A.R.I.E.S System Remington700M24 .308 Silenced
Good for defending from a long distance without giving away my position.


#3 Marlin 226XLR 30-30
Good guide/Hunting gun(a personal favorite)

Ya Gotta have a handgun
Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm

Very Cool (If only they would actually produce these)

IMHO, reliability is key in the event of an apocolypse.

Therefore...
1. AK-47

2. Polymer semiauto pistol: Glock or XD (in order not to incite a Glock v. XD flame war)

3. Revolver--.357 mag

4. Winchester 70 or Rem 700 bolt in 30/06

5. Bolt .22 rifle

If I had to choose only one? AK-47

An 'apocolypse' thread is likely to be closed, as it's the same thing as a 'shtf' thread, however well-disquised, which are not left open on THR. Fun while it lasted though!

I do wonder if I could an ARIES type rifle in .338 spectre however.
