I traded a Bersa Thunder for this SAA in 357 Mag, had plenty of CCW but didn't have a fun gun like this. shoots good handles good A+ in my books.
Here are some pictures.

Please tell me that hammer is NOT resting on a live rounds primer. A black powder frame Uberti is becoming a rare thing to see. I suggest Wolff for a new mainspring. The Uberti revolvers are known for mainspring breakage. You will probably have trouble from the hand spring also. They fixed that a few years ago by using a coil instead of a arched spring. A gunsmith can perform the conversion for you. I think you did well on the trade!

No thoes are fired rounds to protect the pin. sorry to scare you but to see how the trigger is I put some home made snap caps in.

Nice pistola! I have one of those myself, in 4.75 barrel, and it's a real nice shooter.

have fun

Good photographic detail. I was just not used to seeing cartridges in a pistol posing for a picture. You did well on your trade. Eagle and Ajax make some pretty grips for the cowboy pistols.

Sweet gun. I have been bitten by the single action bug and am considering trading one of my guns for one about like yours, although I like the 5 1/2" barrel. Can't decide whether I want blue or stainless.

The Sportsman's Warehouse in PHX had all their Cimarrons on close out because they had just made a deal with Uberti (I guess Uberti is started their own line of upgraded pistols) and they had one left with a small chip in the grip so they gave me an even better price. I got it for $290. I love it, it's probably my favorite pistol for just plinking and carrying when I'm out on my ATV or hunting as a "Ooops a pistol would be handy right now" gun.

My pic kind sux though.
