Traded My CZ P01 for.......

Well as many of you know I put my P01 up for sale as I am really a SIG guy at heart and prefer the control layout and feel to SIGs so I had planned on putting the CZ up for sale and picking up a cheaper SIG, yes cheap is relative to SIGs

Well my local gun monger gave me such a great deal on trade and price on a new SIG that I am now the proud owner of the following. A SIG P229 two tone in .40. Gun has, of course, functioned flawlessly and is extremely accurate.

The CZ was a great gun and anybody looking to buy one should not hesitate. I just happen to be a SIG guy at heart. Some people like Glocks, some 1911s etc. Me, I am a SIG lover. To coin a phrase from the Magic Card thread, it is The One True Sword for me.

So far out of my now 4 SIGs I have never had a malfunction of any kind. Knock on wood.

Anyway here is the new SIG. My first blue box two.

oooo, I like it! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking for one of those, I had a chance to get one for $499 shipped but I was 15 minutes too late . If you find a good deal I'd appreciate you passing it on.

I totally agree with you about SIGs. They are the best combat/carry/service handguns made. The only gun I've ever shot that could come close to a SIG is the Springfield Armory XD. Lately I've come to the realization that why should I keep wasting money buying other guns just to have something different, for now on I'll stick with SIG because I know it's guaranteed to satisfy me right out of the box.

If you can trade a CZ for a SIG you must be doing something right! CZs are fine but SIGs are much better! I love the SS slide.

Next time we go shoot....i want to play with a sig. I havent shot one in years. Never picked up any of yours when we were out. Should have tho. Nice trade tho think someone got the raw end of the deal. and you be trading alot lately....trying to rotate the stock huh

I think I will be there as soon as my GP100 comes in that was part of the trade that got me the Beretta 1201fp shotgun.

I passed on a NIB 2 tone 9mm 229 with Nights and a couple of hi Caps for 550$ a while back.............

I know.....Ill ground myself for the 27th time..........

I Like the P-01; I Like my CZ 75B .40 cal, but I feel my Sig P228 is just on a different level than the CZ. I would not hesitate to make the same deal you made for that P229 .40.

I really like my CZPCR . But I would trade it for a 228,229,239 etc . Good work !
