I have a Forster Original trimmer set up for .223. I'd like to keep all the adjustments and buy another pilot, shaft, shaft bearing, shaft collar, etc. I haven't seen those parts available for sale. Am I stuck buying an entire new trimmer?

Just trim a case to the length that you want and set it aside. That case then is used to set trim length every time you want to trim .223.

I have a drawer full of trimmed cases that I use to set up my trimmer. You can even use an old case, like one with a loose primer pocket,or one of the many odd brands that a reloader occasionally finds. Lightman
