Nice!

Aaarg! Must...resist...sending....mine...in! I've got a factory nickel P7M8 that's in pretty good shape. Nickel's flaking off the barrel, but that's about it. I was thinking of sending it off to Tripp's, but now I'm reading that the nickel's pretty rare. Sigh.....

Gotta love those brushed flats!

Wow. I picked up 2 PSP's a few months ago from SOG when they had a bunch of trade ins. There are some pistols that look good with the chrome/hard chrome treatment, and then there are pistols that look TOTALLY F***ING AWESOME with that treatment.

Don't give in.......save money.....wife will be pissed....don't do it!!!!

BTW, I remember reading a while back that TRIPP stopped doing hardchroming. Do I take it that they are once again offering this service?

Pretty!

Zak,

Do you have to detail strip/remove sights before sending the P7 to Virgil? Or will they do it all for you? Extra cost?

WOW, that is one slick looking pistol. I really like it. I tried an M8 and didnt like it the first time I shot one, but I keep hearing that I need to try it again. I think I am going to.

That is such a nice pistol.

Do you have a metal trigger, or did he strip the plastic coating over the trigger and plate over it?

I would love for my next pistol to be a P7PSP, but I don't know where to find one! Would CDNN be a good place to start?

Zak... got a question here for you.

I thought pornography was against the forum rules? :uhoh:

Zak, Damn, nice job.....:)
The nice thing about their finish is how easy it is to clean after firing....All the "bad-grime" shows up readily...
I had my Sistema Cobra-Chromed after visiting their facility, meeting Virgil & his staff, in Alpine, TX. some years ago. The drive through the Davis Mts was worth the trip....
At that time, I was under the assumption (due to their work load) that they were very restrictive on what models they would accept...I never asked, but evidently they go beyond 1911's....
