my dad passed away recently and left me a nice shotgun, a bolt action
kessler 128 fr... the magazine is worn out and the w spring is broken, i can
use it as a single shot, but id rather have one in the chamber and two in the mag. ive tried numerous online places, and have had little luck...so now what do i do??? i pondered it over and thought, gee there might be another answer.. numrich usually has done okay but theyve been out of stock for this weapon for 8 months . any suggestions guys? thanks (and yes, i got the gun before my no good brother and brother in law could steal it):)

Glad to help. And I'll keep the hunting in mind. I too have some guns that belonged to my dad. Even if they don't shoot, you would never want to get rid of them. But it's always nice to get an old one going again.

amen to that .. i have a good friend from pa erie area who hunts with us good old boys . i take it from your handle that you are from pa?

again thanks...

okay i recieved the part. had to take it to a gunsmith to have it fixed, it had no nib that locks it into place . cost me an extra 30 bucks. grumble grumble grumble... i figure if i spend 44 dollars for a part it should be correct in detail...close but no cigar...

Bobby,

Sorry about the loss of your father.

I have a Kessler 20ga also, given to me by my father-in-law, I've never shot it because I could not find a mag. I'll be placing my order tomorrow.

Thanks from me too PA4476.

You are welcome guys. And I was born in Pa in 1966, but haven't lived there since 67. PA are my initails.
