Anyone out there have one of these pump-action quasi-ARs, or have first-hand experience with one? I know they're primarily thought of as ban-state rifle. I'm not in a ban-state, but I'm still interested in one. I learned to shoot with a pump-action shotgun, and for recreational shooting I personally find running a pump more fun than a semi-auto. And based on the video review of the PAR from Nut'n Fancy, it seems well-built, low-maintenance (far simpler to clean than a gas gun), and delivers sub-MOA accuracy with cheap ball ammo. The downsides he points out--higher recoil than a gas gun, lower rate of fire than semi-auto, and pinned muzzle brake--aren't big deals for the way I'd use the rifle.
