Because I can inject my opinion on the crap choices?
What a pointless addition to the worldwide bank of information known as the internet.
That said, of the choices listed, the
Ruger SR9c would be my first choice for a a gun to be used for both carry and range fun duty. They are splendid pistols - reliable, accurate, well-made, and slim. You should be able to find them for right at $400.
Of the other choices, these are my feelings:
Bersa Thunder 9mm Pro: A nice pistol that is a loose copy of the Walther P88, which is perhaps the finest 9mm pistol ever made. That said, I would find it too large/heavy for concealed carry.
Taurus PT809: Life is too short to deal with crappy QA and even crappier customer service.
Ruger P95: A supremely reliable pistol, but too chunky to easily carry, and not a particularly fun range toy. The ergonomics are a little clunky.
